22 babies in
1 baby out
that we know of
The fifth annual Mothers Day Prayers at the abortion mill has come and gone. It’s just sad that we still have this atrocity to prayer for an end to.
The revised official estimate is estimated at 300 pro-lifers and 70 escorts. The abortion mill really hates this event and we really hate children being slaughtered. This year there was a news crew from ABC filming and interviewing for 20/20. It is due to air June 30 at 10:00pm. We are not too optimistic that it
will not be biased against the pro-life side. We know ABC and the attitudes and interviewing techniques
of the crew certainly reeked of bias against the pro-life stand. When one of the interviewed pro-lifers started to tell about the lawsuits pending against the abortion mill, the crew cut the camera. Sister Mary Prisca, however, always gives everybody the benefit of the doubt and gave them a nice interview.
Among the escorts were the usual suspects and a bunch of new faces which were mostly very young adults as can be seen in some of the photos. Some seemed to enjoy the morning as if it were an outing. Others
just looked as if they did not want to be there or maybe did not know
why there were there exactly. The usual tall tales by the regular escorts of pro-lifers pushing, shoving and being overly aggressive just did not pan out to be true. Being there in person is seeing for yourself.
Prayer Warriors peacefully pray the rosary and other prayers or read their bibles.
Counselors try to give abortion seekers information and help. For some reason, however, the escorts seem to want to keep these women ignorant about what an abortion is and what their options are. Some of the escorts are good at pushing up against the counselors and then trying to say that it was the counselor who pushed them.
Whatever it takes to keep women from making an informed decision (and keep profits rolling in) Saturday was no different.
There were the usual Prayer Warriors also as well as some new faces. God Bless all who came to be a witness for life. There were a couple of men in particular who seemed to be new at the mill. They read their bibles out loud to the escorts. This was probably the first time many of them have ever heard any passages from the bible.
Then there was Mike again with his “interesting” signs walking around. God Bless his intentions.
Late in the morning a small van appeared that we had never seen before. It was covered all over with colorful designs and writings. No, it is not the van covered all over with bumper stickers that belongs to one of the older hippie escorts. Not the same one. We don’t know who the owner was or where she came from except for the Indiana plate.
There were bible quotes and smokers' rights and property rights writings. This van caught everybody's attention. How could it not? Pro-life good, property rights good, smoking not good for you!
After the prayers, St. Martin of Tours church hosted a breakfast, a very good breakfast. All donations go the Golden Arrow Center for Mothers and Children. Unlike abortion escorting, the Golden Arrow ministry does help women (and children).
There is so much help available for women and girls with unwanted pregnancies.
Abortion is such a terrible crime that is not necessary.
Keep praying for mothers, the abortionists and the escorts and for an end to the bloodshed.
